A warm, heartfelt welcome in an authentic home setting. We will begin with a traditional toast as we prepare to transition from the outside world into a space of reflection and connection.

A gentle, enlightening conversation about the origins of Día de Muertos. You will learn why this is not a time of sorrow, but a joyous, triumphant celebration of life and the continuity of the spirit

In a meditative, hands-on session, you will learn to build a traditional offering. We will explain the significance of the four elements—earth, wind, water, and fire—and the meaning of every flower and symbol. This is the core of our experience: you will place the photograph of your loved one on the altar, consecrating a space of honor and memory.

We conclude with a traditional dinner. Sharing a meal is an act of communion in Mexican culture; we will break bread together, share stories, and honor the lives of those we hold dear, ensuring you leave with a sense of peace and a deeper connection to the human experience.

However, since it is outside of the official season, we require advance booking to ensure we can source all the traditional elements, such as fresh marigolds and seasonal offerings, needed to create an authentic altar.
To offer this experience as a private workshop during the off-season, we require a minimum group of 6 participants. This allows us to coordinate with our host family and local suppliers to recreate the full essence of this sacred tradition exclusively for your group.
