Where will be the meeting point?

We have convenient meeting points for all hotel zones. We will direct you to the closest meeting point within your resort area upon confirmation..

Will you pick up and drop-off at the cruise ship terminal?

Yes, this will be a private tour and yes we will pick you up at the main terminal building.

Is the food included in the price?

Yes, food and taco tasting, are part of the deal.

How many tacos can I eat at each stop?

You can eat at least two tacos per stop, however we recommend you pace yourself as we stop in at least four food places and some of the servings can be big.

What kind of beverages are included?

We include: bottled water, soft drinks and beer at each stop. One drink per person at every stop.

Are the gratuities included in the price?

We do not include gratuities in the price of our activities; a suggested gratuity is 15% of the price per participant.

We had an amazing experience with Irma!! The stops she picked were fantastic and gave us peek into the authentic local culture of Puerto Vallarta! She was very informative and took the time to share the history of this beautiful city while showing us her personal favourite spots ranging from tacos, to a bakery, to a fresh coconut stand and also the best damn churro we’ve ever had! Highly recommend!! Make sure you make this part of your PV experience!!

This tour was an absolute highlight of our time in Puerto Vallarta. Our guide, Irma, was incredible from start to finish. By happy circumstance, it ended up being a private tour with just my husband and me, which made the experience even more special.Irma picked us up in the Romantic Zone and drove us through several different neighborhoods, giving us a real feel for local life beyond the typical tourist areas. We stopped at five different taco spots, each one delicious and unique. Along the way, we also visited a coconut processing plant for the freshest coconut water imaginable and explored a local farmers market. By the end, I truly could not eat another bite (and that’s saying something).What made the tour stand out was how personal and authentic it felt. Irma took us to places she eats, and you could feel the pride and love she has for her city. She was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly thoughtful, even helping me track down a curling iron after mine broke the day before. That kind of kindness goes above and beyond.One small note for future guests: the tour did not follow the listed itinerary exactly. We weren’t picked up in a convertible VW bug, and we didn’t have ceviche tostadas or visit an elotes vendor. That said, it’s clear that each tour is curated by the guide, and in our case, the experience we had was exactly how it was meant to be.This was a fantastic, food-filled, culture-rich afternoon, and I highly recommend this tour, especially if you can request Irma. You’ll leave full, happy, and with a deeper appreciation for Puerto Vallarta.

We stopped in PV as part of the Norwegian Bliss cruise and we did the taco tour with Irma. We were so happy we did! It was a private tour and she took us all over PV and showed us her favorite taco spots. We tried all sorts of delicious tacos, tamales, Mexican snacks and aguas frescas. Irma was very accommodating and she really is a wealth of information. She is a PV native and really knows a lot of history of the area. We even had sometime to stop at a local Tequila tasting spot at the downtown area. 100% recommended!

What an amazing time! We shopped at a local market, then went to our chef’s home (with a perfect kitchen) to prepare and cook! Easy to do with eight people - and our teenagers loved it, too! Totally worth it. Enrique was just great. And we booked the Tacos, Culture and Local Barrios tour with them, too: Irma and Chilo took our group all through the city showing us the best authentic taco places - they were a fount of local knowledge and were delightful guides. And yes, we finished with tequila! Thoroughly recommended.

Irma was such a lovely guide and hostess for our taco tour. We hit many out of the way, off the beaten path places that we never would have known to try even after thoroughly searching on Google. She was expert in her coaching on what not to miss trying. She got a sense of our tastes right away and coached us accordingly. Irma was a complete pleasure to spend the evening with and beyond the the tour of the best of asada, al pastor (at two places to compare), octopus, beef tongue and cheek, and camarón, the conversation was lovely. Irma went the extra mile in a couple of other ways as well (including navigating traffic in ways that only a local could pull off unscathed). The night well exceeded our expectations. And though we suspect that with any of the guides at Juan More Taco you’ll be in good hands, Irma truly made it a special night.
